Managed control systems which add SolarWare ™ software monitoring and configuration to the distributed intelligence of a Contextual system. It provides a system- wide view of multiple performances for different devices as well as shading systems. Viewing the systems performance permits extensive tracking and logging, active monitoring, automated alerts, detailed diagnostics and deeper customization to meet multiple lighting conditions. SolarWare ™ supports several methods of viewing and integrating with a managed system; one being Building management, where all devices are connected to a main common server and a floor plan is displayed on the monitor. This enables monitoring of sensor performance and the status of each shading component. Another method is through a web base, in which the system monitors configuration from within a standard web browser. The last method is where each individual can control the lighting conditions and temperature within their own given area using user point and click. The integrated system supports a selection of open protocols to ease integration with BMS and A/V systems.
