The Contextual control system is a little more advanced in which the controls create a system of distributed intelligence where each device self manages its performance to meet a specified set of environmental conditions. This enables the system to behave differently according to the time of year, week, and/or day. The main role of the control system is to not only to respond to a variety of inputs, but also incorporate sun tracking and scheduling capabilities. This would include a buildings specific location and orientation, including seasonal variations in the suns positions, or tracking the sun as it travels through the sky to ensure minimal glare.
